We enjoyed talking about birds and their parenting skills SO MUCH that we decided to talk a little more about it! The process of baby birds becoming fledglings, taking that first step out of the nest is fascinating.
Also a good analogy for what we do to our human children.

An August 2022 study found that 8 in 10 young people come back to their hometown area if they ever leave at all.
More and more, for various reasons, kids are returning to their nest.
